Don't be too excited. I think it is clear that Ruto got purged as minister because he was at odds with Raila Odinga as ODM party leader and Prime Minister, not directly related to being an ICC defendant. He remains in parliament, as does Henry Kosgey, also a defendant from the "ODM side". On the "PNU side" the defendants continue to serve as Finance Minister, Permanent Secretary/Head of Civil Service, and Postmaster General.
