"Africa is, indeed, coming into fashion." - Horace Walpole (1774)

Sorry for the radio silence around here. Like many of you, I've been glued to Al Jazeera English at all waking hours and the blog is suffering from it. I'm going to give it a rest this week, but will be back on Monday with an analysis of what's been happening in Rwanda of late. In the meantime, this is for our friends in Egypt: السلطة الى الشع

It is upsetting that the large majority of Rwanda people suffer from trauma, guilt, and anxiety. Some of the orphans live with their elderly grandparents or within other neighboring families. A large number of them are actually serving as heads of their families. I would give all my cash loans in order to help them. And I am really glad there is a TFT center manned by a trained Rwandan therapist that treats orphans, disabled individuals and survivors of the Rwandan genocide living with different kinds of problems.
