Other than the last part (Yachting? Seriously?), I found this an interesting model of the ways that best practices from around the world can be integrated into local contexts while using local expertise. What do you think?

So let me get this straight: a foreigner comes into South Kivu with lots of capital and seeds and he starts a big plantation. He came to help the "starving" local population learn how to farm. What is so special about this, other than its neo-colonial overtones?
