• Wow, this is about the least exciting thing I've ever read. The BBC has someone on a pirate-watcher/chaser ship writing a diary. Here's a summary of what happens: wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, arrive at a ship too late to save it, wait, wait, wait.
• Daddy told me about this photo essay on the Congo. The second one is of a woman at Heal Africa. She's standing in a passageway that I've walked through a hundred times. I'm sure it hurts her face to be out in the sun, so she needs the shade. Sometimes it's too much.
• Sigh.
• The FDLR is killing civilians in Nord-Kivu. It is unclear to me how the Rwanda-Congo operation against them can be 95% completed if this is still happening.
