Turns out the Mississippi Supreme Court called the practice of waterboarding "torture" in a 1926 case. And the justices said it was not a basis for securing a confession.

This administration continues to kid itself.

Are you surprised? Regardless of one's opinion of the GOP, it must be admitted that the strategy they have employed the most successfully over the past decade or so has been playing the name game, relabeling things they don't like with negative names (e.g. "Death Tax") and things they do like with positive one (e.g. "Pro Life").

Dems should take a lesson from the world of marketing -- a rose by any other name would NOT smell as sweet.
