"Africa is, indeed, coming into fashion." - Horace Walpole (1774)

we are sitting on our couch watching tv tonight

...And here's what we think so far:
  • Chuck is really funny. And bizarre. He works at Buy More, for goodness sakes.
  • Seriously, the guy who owns The Aquarium and some other 6th Street locales is the Bachelor? Really?
  • I apparently get a channel that shows The Wonder Years every night.
  • There's a reality show on TLC about polygamy. For real. In Texas. They're not Mormons. Is this legal?

This is why I rarely sit around watching TV anymore.

[n.b. We are not watching much Monday Night Football tonight because we don't know for whom to cheer.]

Chuck is funny. He works for Buy More, which is next door to LargeMart and he is a manager for Nerd Herd. Love it.

Journeyman, on the other hand, is warmed over Quantum Leap without either the humor or the attempt at any form of scientific explanation. I predict it will be gone before Christmas.

The new season of Heroes looks to be great.

I hope you have your VCR set for Ken Burns' "The War" on PBS. It looks superb and I am not one for stuff on war, not even documentaries. But this is historical documentary making at its best.

Michael, did you notice the signs in the background at Buy More. They're all attempts at being inspirational about how the way to find meaning & happiness, etc. is to BUY MORE. So wicked.

I haven't been watching The War. Some of my Latino friends are pretty upset about it, but mostly I just forgot.
