It's looking like Jean-Pierre Bemba will be allowed to travel to Portugal for medical treatment. Which should give them 90 days to figure out where he can be exiled and/or plot his coup/return. And by "them," I mean William Lacy Swing.
Here's a thought: when Pierre Buyoya left Burundi, they gave him an office at Yale. The fact that he went back to Burundi and staged a successful coup immediately thereafter had nothing to do with it, I'm sure. Yale might not be the place for Bemba, but surely Penn has a spare office or two...
