"Africa is, indeed, coming into fashion." - Horace Walpole (1774)

this team was undefeated?

Last night's game was awesome. Best quip: Stillwater, it's like Norman, but without the shoes.

Being quite familiar with both Jerusalem and Stillwater, one has THE TEAM, the other is a very neat college town with a beautiful campus (thanks to a landscape architecture school) a surprising number of beautiful trees (for those who think it would be only prairie) and one hell of a great basketball hall unlike the cement shell on Red River that is neither good for concerts of b-ball.

Umm, I'm still trying to figure out which place is Jerusalem, which one has a team, which is beautiful, and which has a cement shell. At least three have to be in Texas...

for the purposes of that OTHER state,

a-Jerusalem is the OU campus wherein resides
b-THE TEAM (okay, maybe not in MEN"S basketball...I noticed you failed to speak of the UT women's game :)
c-the Shell on Red river...come on!

d-and actually, OSU has a beautiful campus....

but of course, true Jerusalem is in Waco, it has a better basketball arena and a good team for the future, and I'm not sure what I think about it's beauty...speaking stricly of the campus, of course...the town sucks

Re: Jerusalem on the Brazos:

"'Beauty is truth, truth beauty -- that is all ye know on earth, and all ye need to know.'"

The question, it seems to me, is which one is in shorter supply in scenic Waco. On that, I have no comment.
